During my Erasmus experience in Çorlu, Türkiye, I had the opportunity to see a whole new world. I made a lot of friends, which significantly created lasting memories and long friendships. Due to the interactions I had with local people, whether in the street or in a shop, I was able to practice a considerable amount of English. One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the various, interesting monuments and museums that reflect the historical significance of the region and country.

I was particularly captivated by the House of Ataturk, where I was able to see some of his personal belongings, offering a unique insight into his life and legacy. The experience was both inspiring and educational to me. I thoroughly enjoyed the local cuisine, which added another layer of enjoyment to my time in Türkiye. Overall, my experience in Çorlu by the Erasmus project was incredibly fulfilling and pleasurable.

From the very beginning I was impressed by the hospitality, It was very cool, when the students held posters written in English, Turkish and Bulgarian language ,,Welcome to Corlu’’. I immediately felt like we were special guests. We tried traditional Turkish food, which was new to me and surprisingly delicious. We were shown around their school, and it struck me that they didn’t have trash bins in their classrooms, instead they had bins for separate waste in their corridors.

The ,,treasure hunt’’ task was also interesting, in which we were separated into 2 teams, and we had to take a picture of various things, such as street animals, traditional spices, a mosque and others.

I’ve made many new friendships and precious memories filled with laughter, curiosity and a little fear. In one word – the experience was worth it.

The Erasmus+ meeting in Corlu, Turkey, was an enriching experience that successfully combined professional development with cultural exchange. The sessions were well-organized, offering opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants. The learning walk and cultural activities were particularly enjoyable, providing a deeper understanding of the local heritage and fostering meaningful connections. While there were some areas for improvement, such as accommodation quality and more timely communication, the meeting overall was a rewarding and impactful event. It exemplified the goals of Erasmus+ by promoting learning, cultural diversity, and international cooperation.

The Project,, Erasmus +” was planned perfectly - from the very beginning to the end. The visits to the museum of wax figures and Ataturk house were awesome, the treasure hunt was very funny and exciting, but the most memorable thing for me are the friends I made during the project. Some of the students met us the day before our visit to the school and showed us the city and then we ate,,halva with ice cream" and the next day they welcomed the group and showed us around the school. They were planning a program that was perfect- from the tasting of their national foods to the music and dance program. I can say for sure that the experience was unforgettable, and I will remember it with warm feelings.

I really enjoyed visiting the Turkish school and experiencing their culture firsthand. The hospitality and warmth of the people made the visit special. Sharing meals together was a highlight—it gave me a chance to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine and learn more about their traditions. Meeting so many new people and hearing their stories made the experience even more enriching. I benefited greatly from the connections I made with the students at the school. These interactions helped me gain a deeper appreciation for Turkish culture and build friendships that I hope will last. The experience also broadened my perspective, giving me a better understanding of different lifestyles and educational approaches.
The traditional food was amazing—I really enjoyed tasting authentic dishes and discovering new flavors. And walking around the city gave me the chance to soak in the atmosphere, explore the streets, and enjoy the vibrant surroundings at my own pace.

The way everything was planned for this mobility was great, and I wouldn’t suggest major changes. The balance between activities, cultural exploration, and downtime was well thought out. However, for future mobilities, perhaps there could be a bit more time dedicated to networking or professional development, depending on the goals of the group. But overall, the planning was effective, and I felt it was a well-rounded experience.

really enjoyed the variety of activities planned during the trip. Shopping was a lot of fun, and I loved exploring the local markets and finding unique items. The wax museum was fascinating, especially with figures of Turkish governors, actors, musicians, and historical figures—it gave me great insight into Turkish history and culture. Visiting Atatürk's house was another highlight, providing a deeper understanding of Turkey’s heritage. The mall was also enjoyable, though both Atatürk's house and the mall were located far from other activities, which made the travel a bit time-consuming. A standout moment was the concert at the Turkish school, where I got to experience local music and witness the talent of the students. Overall, the activities were very enjoyable, but the distance between some locations was the only drawback.

I would like to sincerely thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this amazing project. It has been an enriching experience, and I’m grateful for the chance to learn, connect, and explore new cultures. I truly appreciate all the efforts that went into organizing this, and I’m thankful for the valuable memories and experiences I’ve gained throughout this journey.
